This is an excellent trailing epiphytic cactus with twisted limbs that resemble a chain, commonly known as Chain Cactus. Often thornless, it consists of many smooth, concave, three-lobed segments that emerge in a twisted, nearly perpendicular position to the last, forming a long, spiraling, linked cord. The plants are immature but established. New growth is often lime or peach-colored, while mature growth is a soft green. It can reach impressive lengths of 6 feet or more when grown indoors. Place it on a high shelf or mantle where its growths can hang freely. Under ideal conditions, it may produce small white flowers. Best suited for an extra-small planter from Bergs Potter, it prefers bright to indirect sunlight.
